In August 2007 I attended a weekend course “Design Your Own Eco Property” in New Plymouth run by Kama Burwell of the Taranaki Environmental Education Trust. During the course I developed a plan for Gaura Urban Permaculture using the Permaculture Design Process.

Sector Analysis

The first part of Peramculture Design is to observe the site and create a base plan and identify ’sectors’ - wind, sun, shade, slope, moisture, etc. These environmental factors are essential to take into account when making the detailed plan. Here’s the sector analysis:
